PRACTICES CANCELED
Practices for Thursday, August 12 at CSU and Sunday, August 16 at HB are canceled.

A combination of low attendance and a facility repair at HB led to the decision. The plan is to give a week off to allow everyone to get settled with vacations ending and school starting soon.

We will restart following the brief vacation and anticipate getting back up to full scrimmages during practice.

FOR NEW PLAYERS
A number of new, interested players have reached out and are interested in joining. Welcome! A few bits of info that may answer questions:

- Our next session begins September 1. We always invite interested players to join us for a few practices to get to know the club.

- No water polo experience is necessary, we will teach you the skills and rules. However, you must be able to swim (8 lengths without stopping is a good base), but you do not need to be in shape for a competition.

- Competition and travel is optional, we have players who practice only and who play in our scrimmages. We also have many who travel for tournaments.
