CWPC's Ted Bornhorst wrapped up his high school swimming career on a high note at the Ohio Boys Division II State Swimming Championships in Canton.
After placing third in the 100-yard backstroke at the Northeast Ohio District Championships at Cleveland State University with a time of 53.26, Ted entered the state meet with the fifth seed. He held his place and shaved more than half of a second off his time to finish in 52.69 in the championship finals. (Check out the results and notice our ad)
Ted also advanced to the state meet in the 500-yard freestyle. He swims backstroke on Benedictine's 200 Medley Relay and anchors the team's 400-yard freestyle relay, both relay teams qualified for the state meet.
With times like that, we know who is doing the swim off.
Congrats Ted. CWPC is proud of your success.
