Upcoming Practices/Scrimmages

• Thursday, Dec 13 at 8 p.m. at CSU
• Annual meeting is Sunday, Dec. 16 after 1pm practice
• Akron practices are done until spring semester

Annual meeting is December 16
We will meet at Pizzazz following practice our 1-3 p.m. practice at HB.

What we will be doing:

• Electing a board of directors (nominees include Kevin Ziegler, Wade Weber, Brendon Friesen and Maura Dickinson)

• Reviewing proposed by-laws and member policy document

• Discussing other administrative tasks, such as dues, tournaments and waivers

Why we are doing this:Our current club governance structure is out of date and has not been followed. We wanted to update it to ensure that the club continues to have stable leadership and is positioned to help grow the sport in Northeast Ohio. Without creating too much additional administrative work, we wanted to continue to improve our processes that allow us to provide quality programming and equipment. 

The first step is to appoint directors, and those directors will be reviewing an updated draft of  byelaws and a member policy document.

This shouldn't take too long, afterward it will be fun time and socializing with teammates.
