November Baller of the Month

Congratulations, Margaret Breloff!

Name: Maggie Breloff
Number of years playing polo: 12! I played for 5 seasons, starting in 2000, took an 7 year hiatus, and resumed when I moved to Cleveland in 2011.
Number of years w/ CWPC? 7! My first tournament was BGSU in 2011.  I napped in a bar on campus while everyone was dancing.

Favorite position? Unguarded Wing/Annoying Presser
Favorite post polo snack? Becky's Pierogi Sandwich
Favorite tournament? LEC/Quarry Scramble; I like the roadtrips, but I love the accomplishment of a full home pool weekend.
Favorite non-memory? CWPC Never Have I... in Atlanta. Why did that happen? Why don't I remember your secrets?
Biggest polo aspiration? CWPC Photo Calendar
How many table brackets for LEC have you created? Only 3, but I think I've retyped Kasi's screenshot of the game schedule into a useable document all 7 years.

What is the best thing about polo you have learned from this team? I've learned a lot more about how to anticipate the play with this team.  I can pretend I'm still fast by leaving on the counter first. Of course, I'm always impressed that this diverse crowd of people has such a good thing going in and out of the pool.

Hobbies outside of the pool? Applying for jobs
Fill in the blank .. my favorite non polo club is the... CWPC_SNSC. The Ski N Snowboard Club is the most fun!  The CWPC_RC is the most practical and the CWPC_KC is most exclusive.
Favorite after polo bar? Don't make me choose.

Maggie's teammates have this to say about her, " Maggie throws really fun house parties, partakes in line-crossing humor without compromising her principles, and most importantly is a great friend. When necessary, she is capable of the loudest speaking voice I've ever heard."

"Superb knitter who specializes in caps for tiny humans and great teller of many, many, many stories of her youth."

"Maggie has opened her home to so many over the years hosting parties, cooking meals, putting too many tasks on her plate prior to heading out to her event and for all of this we love her!"

"Owns a glue gun."

Thank you, Maggie for being a great team member and better friend!
